The Reincarnated Elf Left on a Journey to Master His Magic and With His Extra Lifespan Became a Living Legend is an upcoming Japanese television anime series based on the light novel of the same name by Monshō Sakakibara. The anime will be produced by Studio Palette and directed by Yuki Inaba, who is also in charge of the series scripts. The main cast includes Daiki Yamashita as Liese, Hana Hishikawa as Minori, and more.
The story follows a reincarnated elf who, after his ordinary life ends in a sudden accident, is reborn with a lifespan of 1,000 years. Determined to live a life without regrets and leave behind proof of his existence, he embarks on a journey, where he reunites with a young girl whose life he once saved. The anime will depict the elf's encounters and farewells as he strives to master his magic and become a living legend.
The light novel series was launched on the Kakuyomu website in 2021 and has since been adapted into a manga by kanco, which began serialization on Starts Publishing's Novema website in May 2023. The manga's first compiled book volume was released in March 2024, and the sixth volume is set to ship on June 26, 2024.
The anime is set to debut in 2027, and fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the teaser video and further details about the production.
