With the popularity of handheld gaming PCs, these glasses provide a larger screen alternative, enhancing the portability factor. Asus' collaboration with XReal to create specialized gaming glasses seems like a natural progression, especially considering their recent ROG Xbox Ally X release.
Design and Features: A Mixed Bag
The ROG XReal R1 glasses, while functional, don't exactly win any style points. The bulkiness and garish design are inherent challenges when integrating displays and mirrors into eyewear. However, the ROG XReal R1 does manage to hide the head-tracking camera more discreetly than some of its competitors.
